Onion and Leek Tart

Dough:
150 g plain flour
100 g butter
1 tablespoon cream
salt, 1egg

Topping:
150 g leek
80 g onion
80 g bacon
30 g oil
salt, pepper
Egg wash: 2 medium-sized eggs, 1 dl cream, 7 cl milk, salt, ground nutmeg

  • Zubereitung

Knead flour, butter, egg, cream and salt until smooth and allow to rest for 1 hour.
Line a springform tin with the dough, pulling the dough up along the sides.

Topping:
Dice onions and bacon into small cubes, cut leek into strips; heat the oil, sweat bacon, add onions and leek, fry for 5-7 minutes, season to taste and cool.

Carefully blend seasonings with egg wash, spoon bacon-leek mixture onto the dough and pour over egg wash. Preheat the oven and bake at 220° C for 20-25 minutes.

Tip:
1 l = 1 dm3 = 10 dl = 100 cl = 1000 ml
