200 g diced white bread
2 eggs
300 ml milk
50 g butter
50 g onions
salt, parsley

- Zubereitung
Mix eggs, milk and salt. Finely chop the onion and sweat in heated butter; Combine diced bread cubes, egg wash, onions and parsely and allow it to rest for 15 minutes. Wet a napkin. a tea towel or an aluminium foil, grease with butter and lower the mixture onto the towel, form a roll and tightly roll in, securing both ends. Bring water to a boil, add salt, lower heat and simmer the roll for about 20 minutes. Roll must increase its volume by at least a quarter.
Take out from the water and cut into approx. 1 cm thick slices.
